The AirZone Ptarmigan (TAR-ME-GAN) is a multi-purpose, reliable and durable tent for you and a partner. Rain fly with 2 stake-out vestibules included.
AirZone inflatable tents include all of the same features of conventional, rigid-poled tents, yet offer many additional features because of the technology.
AirZone
tents are easily inflated using a special intake valve,
which has been designed to allow for easy and quick
inflation by many different inflation applications.
Air-tanks, 12 volt air-compressors, CO2 dispensers, a
spare-tire or even a bicycle pump are just a few
available options.
A
pressure safety valve prevents over-inflation... All
AirZone tents have been equipped with pressure release
valves. These prevent the tents from being
over-inflated. Air automatically escapes from this
special valve when air is in excess of 22 PSI, the the
tent's optimum pressure.
Quick clicks
are used to attach the rain fly at each corner of the
tent. These clips make it very easy to install or take
off the fly. Because of the lack of individual parts,
you can keep your rain fly attached to the then for set
ups or take downs. In fact, as far as we know, AirZone
tents are the only known recreational tents in the
world that can be set-up with the rain fly already
attached.
Worried about
a failure in one of the air poles? In the very unlikely
circumstance that a failure does occur, the damaged
pole can be unzipped from the tent and another zipped
into its place. Don't have a spare? The AirZone
tents are still useable with a single support to get
you through the night.
AirZone tents
weigh and occupy the same amount of space as most tents
available today. There are no rigid parts whatsoever so
they can be stuffed into any available space.
Motorcyclists, bicyclists, boat operators and other
travelers will enjoy the freedom from having to find a
place for unyielding rigid poles. The incredibly
user-friendly AirZone CO2 bottle and dispenser is the
most popular inflation device, and it can be stored in
any place that would accommodate a small pop bottle.
After the tent is set up, the tent bag can be used for
other activities... (i.e. beach, hiking... etc).
