The Desert Alp "Elephant" are the last addition to the Vendramini "Steel" collection.
Designed to be the perfect companion to riders who like taking long adventure trips through all kind of roads, terrains and climates. On road or off road, the Desert Alp Elephant is a top performer that meets and exceeds the requirements of riding in rough conditions.
Constructed with specially covered leather which gives them the distinctive look of thick elephant skin. The Desert Alp Elephant feature integral protections on heel, ankles, toes and shins. In the most critical points, a fine steel mesh provides extra protection against frictions and abrasions. A removable steel cap and Vendramini's famous lateral crush resistant bottom complete the out standing list of safety features these boots provide.
On the comfort side, the Desert Alp Elephant are equally top rated. Their special flexible areas allow free movements of the foot and make the boots comfortable enough to walk in them all day long. The closure system is secured by two strong straps and micrometric buckles that allow tightening steps of only 2.5 mm. Double lined with a V-Tex Hydro-stop waterproof membrane and a temperature stabilizing membrane and a temperature stabilizing membrane by Outlast that is capable of absorbing, storing and eventually expelling or releasing the heat inside the boot.
Completely waterproof and maintenance free. They are also 100% resolable so they will last a lifetime.
Optional Sole Inserts -
Vendramini now includes these inserts with all the Desert Alp Boots. Top is made of leather and coconut fiber on the bottom, designed to self-adjust by crushing under your feet. Though not mandatory, their use should provide more fit and comfort. If they caues too much tightness along the width and instep, phase them in after the boots have some initial break-in.
