It gives you all the Marathon's features plus shin and ankle semi-flexible steel reinforcements. Also, on top of Vendramini's waterproof Hydro-Stop membrane, a second lining made with Outlast Adaptive Comport, a temperature stabilizing membrane which helps stabilize the temperature inside the boot in extreme hot or cold weather conditions.
Made of Italian full grain, hydro-repellent, double tanned 2.8mm thick leather, the MARATHON STEEL is an extremely protective boot that offers maximum comfort and safety.

Vendramini boots do not come in narrow or wide widths. Keep in mind that they tend to be a little wider than most other brands, especially in the toe area, to enhance overall comfort.
Optional Sole Inserts -
Vendramini now includes these inserts with all the Marathon Steel Boots. Top is made of leather and coconut fiber on the bottom, designed to self-adjust by crushing under your feet. Though not mandatory, their use should provide more fit and comfort. If they caues too much tightness along the width and instep, phase them in after the boots have some initial break-in.

 I have had many boots but this boot is
the best made in my opinion. I crashed a few
years back and I am totally convinced that this
boot saved my ankle and foot. I was on a
Triumph Rocket which is quite heavy and I broke
the foot peg off from the force. The boot took
it all.You pay for quality. Can't go wrong with this boot.
