The Showercap hooks over handlebar-mounted instrument pods, stretches back to cover handlebars, tank, seat and backrest. Held in place by shock cord around the rear and the built-in shock cord tie-downs with plastic hooks.

Rip-stop nylon was originally developed as an inexpensive synthetic replacement for silk in the production of parachutes during World War II.
